From the first day after your missed period, pregnancy tests are the most accurate, but certain tests can be used as early as 4 to 5 days before your cycle is due.
To discover when it should be used, check the packaging of your test.
You’ll actually know when the next cycle is due whether you have daily intervals.
It’s a smart idea to wait at least 3 weeks after you think you might have conceived before conducting a survey, if you are not positive.
Results of pregnancy testing
A positive test result (pregnant) is almost certainly right. A finding that is negative (not pregnant) is less accurate.
If, after a disappointing test, you somehow believe you are pregnant, wait a couple of days and try again.
Talk to your GP if you keep having bad results, so you’re concerned about your time being late.
