While all children grow at varying speeds, these recommendations do recommend how and when to feed your child.
Babies need solid food and breast milk or formula from 6 months of age.

Begin to have solid food at the age of 6 months (not before 4 months).

The first solid foods of your baby should have iron. Iron-fortified food includes iron grain, beef, poultry , fish, tofu and legumes, including lentils, beans and chickpeas.
The first solid meal of your baby should be creamy, lump-free purees. You should do that with a blender by yourself.
